The Old Kings Courthouse Museum is a resource centre for the social and natural history of Kings County. Located at 37 Cornwallis Street in Kentville, the museum is home to several permanent collections including: a display of rocks and minerals from the Annapolis Valley; a collection of birds from the late Dr. Robie Tufts, a well-known ornithologist; a Victorian parlour and a New England Planter kitchen. A library and community histories archives are also maintained at the museum.

Cape Split lies at the end of a 3-5 hour hike along a wooded trail that starts from Scott's Bay. All along the way you'll see many native animals and flocks of migrating birds.

Located on Main Street in Wolfville and run by the Wolfville Historical Society, Randall House was built in 1780 and its displays of local artifacts represent life as it was in early Wolfville.

The Ross Farm Museum is worth the bit of a drive from Kentville to its location in New Ross.  Here you can capture the flavor of early life in Nova Scotia.  Watch costumed artisans make barrels at the Cooper Shop, horse shoes at the Blacksmith's or savor the delicious aromas of good food cooking over an open hearth.

Grand Pre National Historic Site features the statue of Evangeline, the Memorial Stone Church, ancient willows and a Blacksmith's shop.  The site is dedicated to the tragic Expulsion of the Acadians and is located 8 kilometres east of Wolfville.

Oaklawn Farm Zoo in Aylesford offers visitors both exotic and native animals.  Started as family farm owned and operated by Ron and Gail Rogerson and family, their love and care of animals soon made it a popular attraction for school outings.  In 1984 they opened their farm to the public.

From early October until Hallowe'en Kentville is invaded by the magical Pumpkin People. Their appearance coincides with the annual Harvest Festival.

Cape Blomidon is a spectacular site in any season.  Home to the Mi'kmaq god Glooscap, this enormous bluff rises 600 feet above the waters of the Bay of Fundy.  Blomidon Provincial Park offers scenic hiking trails along the sea cliffs.

Ever see 30 Bald Eagles in a single tree?  From November to early March Kings County becomes the winter home to hundreds of eagles.  Why is Kings County so blessed?  Chickens! Over 90% of Nova Scotia's poultry production takes place in our county.  Local farmers and naturalists got together and set up feeding stations where eagles can be viewed at a close, but safe range.

Prescott House in Starr's Point, is the former home of Charles Ramage Prescott, a prosperous Halifax merchant who retired in 1810 and moved to the Annapolis Valley where he built this magnificent home.  It is considered one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture to be found in Nova Scotia.

The Greenwood Military Aviation Museum has on display Argus, Neptune and Lancaster aircraft.   Indoor exhibits trace Greenwood's history from an RAF Station in 1942 to its present day status as the largest airbase in the Maritimes.
